Understanding third-party sign-in on Tixr

Learn how third-party sign-in works and how to access your Tixr account using Apple, Google, or Facebook.

Updated yesterday

Third-party sign-in lets you access your Tixr account with one tap using your existing Apple, Google, or Facebook account. This gives you a faster, simpler way to sign in without creating or remembering a separate password.

What third-party sign-in is

Third-party sign-in lets you use your Apple, Google, or Facebook account to access Tixr instead of creating a separate username and password. When you choose this option, Tixr securely receives your first name, last name, and email from your provider to create or access your account.

Available options by platform:

  • Web: Apple, Google, Facebook

  • iOS app: Apple, Google

  • Android app: Google

Your orders, tickets, and account details stay connected regardless of which sign-in method you use, as long as the email address matches.

Signing in with Apple, Google, or Facebook

To sign in with a third-party provider:

  1. Go to tixr.com or open the Tixr app

  2. Select Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or Continue with Facebook

  3. Follow your provider's prompts to authorize Tixr

  4. You'll be signed in automatically

Your Tixr account connects to your provider account, so you can use this method to sign in anytime.

Tip: If you sign in during checkout, your cart and progress are saved. You'll return to the same step after signing in.

What happens when you sign in

When you use third-party sign-in, Tixr automatically handles your account connection:

  • If you're a new user: Tixr creates an account for you using your provider's name and email. Your first purchase and all future orders will be linked to this account.

  • If you already have a Tixr account: If your provider email matches your existing Tixr email, everything connects automatically. You'll see all your past orders and tickets.

  • If your provider email changes: Your Tixr account stays connected through a secure ID. Changing your email with Apple, Google, or Facebook won't affect your Tixr access.

Heads up: If you use Apple's Hide My Email feature, this creates a private relay email address that's different from your regular email. This may create a separate Tixr account if you already have one under your regular email address. Learn more in our Apple Hide My Email troubleshooting guide.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Do I need to create a Tixr account if I sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook?

No. Tixr creates an account for you automatically using your provider's information. You can start using Tixr immediately without filling out a registration form.

  2. Will my existing orders show up if I sign in with a third-party provider?

Yes, as long as you use the same email address. If your provider email matches your existing Tixr account email, all your orders, tickets, and account details will be available immediately.

  3. Which sign-in method should I use?

Use whichever provider you prefer. All three options work the same way and give you full access to your Tixr account. Choose the one you use most often on your device.

  4. Can I use multiple third-party sign-in methods on the same account?

Yes. You can link Apple, Google, and Facebook to the same Tixr account. Once linked, you can sign in using any of these providers interchangeably.

  5. Can I still access my account if I don't have Apple, Google, or Facebook?

Yes. You can create a Tixr password under Account β†’ Profile to sign in with your email and password instead. This gives you an alternative sign-in method that doesn't require a third-party provider.

  6. What if I want to stop using third-party sign-in?

You can unlink your provider and switch to email and password sign-in anytime. Learn how in our managing linked accounts guide.
