When you purchase a livestream or on-demand video on Tixr, you can watch it from almost any device - your phone, tablet, or computer.
You’ll access your media directly through your Tixr account, either on the website or in the mobile app. Once you’re signed in, you can start watching immediately at showtime or anytime your on-demand content is available.
If you prefer a bigger screen, you can also stream your video to a TV using Tixr Play on Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, or Chromecast.
Before You Start
Make sure you’re ready to stream without interruptions.
Use the same Tixr account you used to purchase
If you signed in with Apple, Google, or Facebook at checkout, use that same login method again.
If someone else purchased for you, the livestream or video will appear in their account.
Check your device and connection
Desktop: Latest Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge
Mobile: Latest iOS or Android with the Tixr app or a mobile browser
Avoid private/incognito browsing and ad blockers—they can prevent playback.
Use a stable internet connection (5–10 Mbps for HD; 20+ Mbps recommended for shared Wi-Fi).
Understanding Livestreams vs On-Demand Videos
Livestreams begin at the scheduled showtime. Some open early with a countdown or pre-show.
Replays (VOD) may be available for a limited time after the livestream ends. Availability varies by event.
On-demand purchases may be sold separately. Check the event page for what’s included.
Steps To Watch Your Livestream or Video
Option 1: On Desktop (Tixr.com)
Step 1. Go to Tixr.com and sign in.
Step 2. Hover over your initials in the top-right corner and click Media.
Step 3. Under Live Streams or Videos, find your event and click Play.
Option 2: In the Tixr App
Step 1. Open the Tixr app and sign in.
Step 2. Tap the Media icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Choose Live or Videos, select your event, then tap Play.
Option 3: From Your Email
Step 1. Open your purchase confirmation email from Tixr.
Step 2. Click Go to Livestream to open the stream page.
Step 3. Sign in using the same account used to purchase.
Option 4: From the Event Page
Step 1. Visit your event page on Tixr.
Step 2. Sign in.
Step 3. Click the Play icon on your purchased ticket.
Watching on Your TV
