How to activate your account after guest checkout

Activate your Tixr account to unlock full access to your tickets and order management features.

If you checked out as a guest, Tixr automatically created a partial account using your email address. Activating your account takes less than a minute and gives you the ability to view your order details, transfer tickets, access payment plans, and manage upgrades - all from your account dashboard.

Before you begin: Make sure you have access to the same email address you used during checkout and your Tixr order confirmation email.

Why activate your account?

Once activated, you'll be able to:

  • View and manage all your orders in one place

  • Transfer tickets to friends or family

  • Access and modify payment plans

  • Upgrade your tickets when available

  • Receive important event updates

  • Check out faster for future purchases

Activating your account

  1. Open your Tixr order confirmation email

  2. Click the blue Log In to Your Account button below your order details

  3. On the login page, select Forgot Password

  4. Enter the email address you used to purchase your tickets and click Reset My Password

  5. Check your email for the password reset message and click the blue Log In to Your Account button inside

  6. Create a new password and click Update

  7. Sign in with your email and new password

  8. Complete your profile information and click Save Profile

Your order will automatically appear in your account dashboard, giving you full access to manage your purchase.

Heads up: You're using the password reset feature because Tixr created your account during checkout - you're setting your password for the first time, not resetting an existing one.

  1. I didn't receive the password reset email. What should I do?

    Check your spam or junk folder first. If you still don't see it, add [email protected] to your contact list and request another password reset email. Make sure you're using the exact email address from your order confirmation.

  2. Can I use a different email address than the one from my order?

    No. Your account must use the same email address from your original order to ensure your tickets and order history are properly linked.

  3. Do I have to activate my account right away?

    No, but activating your account as soon as possible gives you access to important features like ticket transfers and payment plan management. You can activate your account at any time, even after your event has passed.

  4. What if I already have a Tixr account with a different email address?

    You cannot merge accounts or transfer orders between email addresses. For this order, you'll need to activate the account associated with your guest checkout email. For future purchases, log in to your preferred account before checking out.
