When an event organizer offers Returns for Credit, you can exchange your tickets for Tixr Credits instead of a cash refund. Credits appear instantly in your Tixr Account and can be used toward future events with the same organizer.
Important: This option is only available if the event organizer has enabled it for your specific event and ticket type. If you don't see a Return for Credit button, that organizer doesn't currently offer returns for credit.
Returning your tickets for credit
Log in to your Tixr account
From the main navigation menu, click Wallet
Select the event that includes the tickets you want to return
Find your order and click View Order
If eligible, click Refund Order
Select the tickets you want to return and choose Return for Credit as the refund option
Complete the typing verification to confirm your action
Review the summary and click Submit Return
What happens after you submit the return
Email confirmation: You'll receive an email confirming your return and showing your new credits' expiration date.
Instant credit deposit: Your refunded amount will be added to your Tixr account immediately.
Invalid tickets: Returned tickets will be marked as invalid and can no longer be used for entry.
Where You Can Use Your Credits
Credits are tied to the event organizer who issued them.
To find eligible events:
Go to the Credits tab of your Tixr account and note the organizer's name on the credit bank.
Visit that organizer’s group page to see events where you can use your credits.
