Frequently Asked Questions

  1. The video won't play, I only see a black screen. What should I do?

Verify you're logged in to the correct Tixr account that has access to the content. Click the play button on both the event card and again on the stream page itself.

  2. Can I watch on multiple devices at the same time?

Tixr Play supports one active stream per account at a time. Close the stream on any other devices before starting playback on a new device.

  3. I didn't receive my livestream confirmation email

Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders for emails from Tixr. Search for "Tixr Livestream" or "Go to Livestream" in your email client.

  4. The stream won't load when the event starts

Refresh the page or app once the scheduled start time arrives. If the issue persists, try accessing the stream from a different browser or device.

  5. Do I need to enter the activation code every time I watch?

No. Once you've activated your device using the code at tixr.com/activate, your Tixr account remains connected to that device for future viewing.

  6. What internet speed do I need for smooth streaming?

Stream quality depends on your Wi-Fi connection and the event producer's video bitrate settings. A stable broadband connection is recommended for the best viewing experience.
