Updated over 2 months ago

What Are Post-Purchase Add-Ons?

After you buy tickets on Tixr, you might want to add extras like merchandise, parking passes, or VIP upgrades. Post-purchase add-ons let you buy these items later - after your initial checkout.

Heads up: Not all events offer post-purchase add-ons. Availability and add-on types are determined by the event organizer. If you don’t see this option, it may not be offered for your event.

Steps to Buy Add-Ons After Your Purchase

Step 1. Go to tixr.com and log in to your Tixr account.

Step 2. Click your initials in the top right corner and select Wallet.

Step 3. Find your event and click the event card to open your Event Dashboard.

Step 4. Scroll down to find the Add-Ons section beneath your tickets.

Step 5. Click the + icon next to any item you’d like to purchase.

Step 6. Adjust quantities if needed.

Step 7. Complete checkout to finalize your add-on purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What add-ons can I buy?

You'll only see add-ons that work with the tickets you've already bought. Different tickets might qualify for different add-ons.

  2. Can I buy add-ons using the Tixr app?

Not yet. Currently, you can only buy post-purchase add-ons on the Tixr website, not in the app.

  3. How long will add-ons be available?

Add-ons have their own sale periods and quantity limits, just like tickets. If you're interested in an add-on, it's best to check your Event Dashboard regularly.

  4. Can I get a refund for add-ons?

Add-ons follow the same refund rules as your original tickets. Check the event's terms or contact Tixr support for specific information.

  5. I used guest checkout for my original purchase. Can I still buy add-ons?

Yes, but you'll need to create a Tixr account first. Use the same email address you used during guest checkout, and your orders will connect to your new account.
