When you share your Tixr referral link and friends buy tickets, you earn points toward discounts and perks. Your Rewards Dashboard shows your current point balance, referral activity, unlocked rewards, and leaderboard ranking if you're a top earner.
Heads up: Points are earned when friends purchase through your unique referral link without refreshing or leaving the event page before checkout. Each event has its own referral program and rewards.
Accessing your rewards dashboard
From the event page:
Log in to your Tixr account.
Navigate to the event page.
Click Rewards in the top right corner.
From your account menu:
Log in to your Tixr account.
Click your initials in the top-right corner and select Account.
In the left-hand menu, click Rewards.
If you're not logged in, you can view general rewards information for an event, but you won't see your personal points, progress, or leaderboard rank.
Understanding your dashboard sections
My Rewards
This section displays all available rewards for the event and shows your progress toward unlocking each one.
Locked rewards show how many points you need to unlock them
Unlocked rewards are ready to use on your next ticket purchase for this event
Each reward can only be earned once (earning 240 points toward a 100-point reward still unlocks just one reward)
If you unlock multiple discount rewards, only the highest discount applies at checkout
My Points
This section shows your earning activity:
Total points earned: All points credited to your account for this event
Pending points: Referrals that haven't been fully processed yet
Referred sales: Number of successful purchases through your link
Purchaser details: Individual ticket types and point values from each referral
Points Per Ticket
This table shows how many points each ticket type is worth when someone buys through your referral link. Point values vary by ticket type and are set by the event organizer.
Leaderboard
If you're one of the top 10 point earners for an event, you'll appear on the leaderboard with your current rank and total points.
Finding and sharing your referral link
Your unique referral link is available in three places:
On the confirmation screen immediately after purchasing tickets
In the rewards confirmation email sent after checkout
In your Rewards Dashboard under your account
Copy the link to share manually, or use the social sharing buttons in the dashboard to post directly to your channels.
Important: Your referral link is event-specific and cannot be edited. Each event generates its own unique link tied to your account.
Frequently asked questions
My friend bought tickets through my link, but I didn't get points. What happened?
Points are only awarded when:
Your friend purchased directly through your referral link without refreshing the page or navigating away before checkout
The ticket type they purchased is eligible for the rewards program
The purchase was completed (not canceled or refunded)
What does "pending points" mean?
Pending points are from referrals that are still being processed. This typically happens with payment plan purchases, which credit points after the first payment clears. Most pending points convert to active points within 24-48 hours.
How do I use my unlocked rewards?
Unlocked rewards apply automatically at checkout when you purchase tickets for the same event. If you have multiple discount rewards unlocked, the highest discount is applied. Rewards cannot be transferred to other events or other accounts.
Can I combine my rewards discount with other promo codes?
No. Rewards discounts cannot be stacked with promo codes or other offers. Only one discount can be applied per order.
Why do some ticket types show 0 points?
Event organizers choose which ticket types are eligible for rewards. Complimentary tickets, VIP packages, or certain restricted ticket types may not earn points.
I'm in the top 10, but I don't see myself on the leaderboard. Why?
You must be logged in to see your position on the leaderboard. The leaderboard updates periodically, so recent point changes may take a few minutes to reflect.
Can I see rewards from previous events?
Your dashboard shows rewards for the current event only. Rewards are event-specific and expire after the event date. To check rewards for a different event, navigate to that event's page and access the Rewards Dashboard from there.
