Understanding Tixr rewards

Earn points when friends buy tickets through your referral link and unlock discounts, upgrades, and more.

Tixr Rewards lets you earn points for ticket sales made through your unique referral link. You can use these points to unlock discounts, upgrades, merchandise, or other special rewards offered by the event organizer.

After you complete your order, you'll receive an email with your custom link and everything you need to manage and track your rewards.

Earning rewards

  1. Purchase a ticket for an event that offers Tixr Rewards.

  2. Find your unique rewards link on the confirmation page after checkout, in the rewards email sent to you after purchase, or in your Rewards Dashboard.

  3. Share your link via text, email, or social media.

  4. Earn points for every eligible ticket purchased through your link.

Important: Points can only be earned from purchases made directly through your referral link. If the event page is refreshed, closed, or the link is not used properly, the sale won't count toward your rewards. Points can't be manually or retroactively added.

Redeeming earned rewards

Discount rewards

If you unlock a discount-based reward, it will automatically be refunded to your original payment method. Refunds are processed 10–15 days after the event ends. No additional action is required.

Experience, upgrade, or merchandise rewards

If your reward includes a physical item, VIP experience, or event upgrade, the event organizer will fulfill these rewards directly. You'll receive a separate email with instructions or delivery details before the event.

Heads up:

  • Each unlocked reward is limited to one per user. For example, if 100 points equals one free ticket, earning 240 points still earns only one free ticket.

  • Discount rewards don't stack. For example, if you unlock both a 20% and a 40% discount, only the highest discount will apply.

  1. Can I earn multiple rewards?
    Yes, if the event offers multiple reward tiers. However, some rewards are limited to one per user.

  2. Who fulfills the rewards?
    Tixr provides refunds or discounts directly. Physical perks, such as merchandise or upgrades, are fulfilled by the event organizer.

  3. Can I earn points for multiple events?
    Yes. Each event has its own unique rewards link. You'll earn points for an event only when someone uses that event's link to buy tickets.

  4. How do I track my progress or find my referral link again?
    Visit your Rewards Dashboard to view your points and unlocked rewards. You can access it from the link in your rewards email or your Tixr account.

  5. What happens if someone uses my link but doesn't complete their purchase?
    Points are only awarded for completed purchases. Abandoned carts or incomplete transactions won't count toward your rewards.

  6. Can I share my rewards link before the event?
    Yes. You can share your link as soon as you receive it after purchasing your ticket. Points will be tracked as long as purchases are made through your unique link.
