How to navigate a Tixr event page

Learn how to find tickets, event details, venue information, and organizer policies on a Tixr event page before making your purchase.

Updated this week

Every Tixr event has a dedicated purchase page that includes everything you need to know before buying: ticket types, venue information, organizer policies, and contact details. Understanding how to navigate these pages helps you make informed decisions and find the information you need quickly.

Understanding the event page layout

Tixr event pages follow a consistent structure to help you find information easily. Here's what you'll see as you scroll through an event page:

Event image and header

At the top of the page, you'll see the event's main image along with the event name, date, and time. This header provides an immediate overview of the event you're viewing.

Ticket selection area

Directly below the header, you'll find the ticket picker displaying all available ticket types and pricing options. This is where you'll select the tickets you want to purchase. Each ticket type shows:

  • Ticket name and price

  • Quantity available (if limited)

  • A More Info link to view additional details about what's included or restricted

To view details about a specific ticket type, hover over the ticket option and click More Info.

Event description

Scroll below the ticket selection area to find a complete description of the event. This section typically includes:

  • A summary of what to expect at the event

  • Age restrictions or entry requirements

  • A countdown to the event start date

  • Additional details provided by the event organizer

Venue and location information

Just below the description, you'll find the location section with the venue name and address. Many event pages include a link to open the location directly in Google Maps for easy navigation and directions.

Contact information

Near the bottom of the page, you'll find contact details for the event organizer. Use this information to reach out directly with specific questions about the event, tickets, or policies.

Legal terms and policies

At the bottom of the event page, you'll find the terms section, which includes important policies such as:

  • Refund policies

  • Transfer or resale policies

  • Event-specific rules and restrictions

  • Terms and conditions set by the event organizer

These policies are set by the event organizer and may vary by event.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can I purchase tickets for multiple events at once?

No. Each event is operated independently with unique pricing and fees. You must purchase tickets for each event separately.

  2. Can I add more tickets to my order later?

Once an order is complete, it cannot be reopened. You'll need to make a separate purchase if you want additional tickets or missed an add-on during checkout.

  3. What if I still have questions about a ticket or package?

Check the event's website or social media for public event details. You can also use the contact information on the event page to reach the event organizer directly with specific questions.

  4. Where can I find information about refund or transfer policies?

Refund and transfer policies are located in the terms section at the bottom of each event page. These policies are set by the event organizer and may vary by event.

  5. Do I need to follow an event to receive updates about it?

Following an event is optional, but it's the best way to receive notifications about ticket releases, event updates, or changes. You can follow an event even if you haven't purchased tickets yet.

  6. What if the ticket I want shows limited availability?

When a ticket type shows limited quantity, it means only a certain number of tickets remain at that price or tier. Consider purchasing soon if you're interested, as these tickets may sell out.
