You can transfer tickets through your Tixr account to share them with friends or family members at no cost.
Transfers are intended for sharing tickets with another person free of charge. If you're looking to sell your ticket, learn how to list it on Tixr's secure Resale marketplace instead.
Heads up: Not all events allow fan-to-fan transfers. The availability of ticket transfers is determined by the event organizer. If you don't see the transfer option, it may not be offered for your event.
Transferring your tickets
Log in to your Tixr account on Tixr.com or open the Tixr mobile app and log in using your account credentials.
Access your Wallet:
On web: Click your initials in the top right corner, then select Wallet from the dropdown menu.
On mobile: Tap Wallet in the bottom menu.
Find the event that includes the ticket you'd like to transfer and open the event card.
Click Transfer. The Transfer button will only appear if your tickets are eligible for transfer.
Select one or more tickets from your order, then click Continue or Send.
Enter the recipient's email address. Make sure the email is correct - the transfer can only be accepted from the address you enter.
Click Complete Transfer. The recipient will receive an email invitation to accept the tickets.
What happens after you transfer
The recipient must accept the transfer to complete the process. Once accepted, the tickets move to their Tixr account, and you will no longer have access to them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see a transfer option for my tickets?
The event organizer may have disabled transfers for this event. Transfer availability is determined by each organizer, and not all events offer this feature.
Can I transfer tickets if I'm on a payment plan?
Tickets can only be transferred once your payment plan is fully paid off. Complete all remaining payments before attempting to transfer.
The recipient did not receive the transfer email. Where should they check?
Have the recipient check their spam or junk folder. The transfer invitation email is sent to the address you entered and may be filtered by some email providers.
I sent the transfer to the wrong email address. How can I correct this?
Cancel the pending transfer in your Wallet, then resend it to the correct email address. Pending transfers can be canceled before they are accepted.
Can I charge someone for a transferred ticket?
