Order Protection gives you extra peace of mind in case something unexpected comes up and you can’t make it to the event.
It helps cover you for certain unforeseen circumstances but can’t be used for ticket exchanges, upgrades, or in cases of event changes, postponements, or cancellations.
Order Protection must be included at the time of purchase and can’t be added later, but it can be canceled within 14 days of purchase - as long as the event hasn’t taken place yet.
After that, it becomes non-refundable.
Steps to Cancel Order Protection
Step 1. Find the email with the subject “Refund Protection Order Confirmation & Important Information.”
Step 2. Open the email and click Remove Refund Protection.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen steps to:
Select your order
Choose a cancellation reason
Submit your request
Important Restrictions:
You must cancel within 14 days of purchase.
You cannot cancel after the event date, even if you didn’t attend.
Refunds only apply to the Order Protection fee, not your tickets.
Order Protection is powered by a trusted third-party partner, Teak, and is separate from Tixr’s standard ticket policies.
Teak may require documentation to support any refund requests or claims.
Tixr doesn’t have visibility into claims filed with Teak and can’t provide updates or answers about their status.
