Ticket upgrades let you move to better seats, premium sections, or higher access levels if your event organizer offers them. When available, you can upgrade directly from your Wallet in just a few steps.
Heads up: If the Upgrade button doesn’t appear, upgrades may not be available for your event or ticket type.
Steps to Upgrade Your Ticket
Step 1. Log in to your Tixr account
Step 2. Access your Wallet:
On Web Browser: Click your initials in the upper right corner, then select Wallet from the dropdown menu
On Mobile App: Tap Wallet in the bottom menu
Step 3. Find your desired event in your Wallet
Step 4. Look for the Upgrade button (only visible if upgrades are available for your purchases)
Step 5. Select the tickets you want to upgrade
Review the list of tickets eligible for upgrades
Click See Available Upgrades
Step 6. Choose your new tickets and complete checkout
Once your purchase is complete, your upgraded tickets will replace your original ones automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see the option to upgrade my ticket?
The event must have upgrades enabled by the organizer.
You’ll see an Upgrade Available label on the event card in your Wallet if the feature is active.
If there’s no label or button, upgrades aren’t currently being offered for that event.
What if I am using a payment plan?
Orders with active payment plans can’t be upgraded until the plan is paid in full. Once payment is complete, you can check again to see if upgrades are available.
