How to view and add saved payment methods

View and manage saved payment methods in your Tixr account for faster, easier checkout.

Storing a card allows for faster checkout and ensures a smooth payment experience when buying tickets or add-ons. When you checkout for a future purchase, any saved cards will automatically appear as available options for quick payment.

You can add, edit, or delete cards anytime directly from your account settings.

Heads up: Saving a payment method here won't update the card used for an active payment plan. To change the card for a live installment plan, follow the steps in How to Update Your Payment Method for a Payment Plan.

Viewing or adding a payment method

  1. Log in to your Tixr account.

  2. Click your initials in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Account from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click Payment Methods in the left sidebar.

  5. Review your saved cards (if any) displayed on this page.

  6. To add a new card, click Add new payment method.

  7. Enter your card details. Optionally, check Use as default to make it your default card for future orders.

  8. Click Submit.

You can delete or edit saved payment methods anytime under Account > Payment Methods.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Will my saved card be charged automatically?

    No. Saved payment methods only appear as options during checkout—they won't be charged unless you actively select them and complete a purchase.

  2. Can I save multiple cards?

    Yes. You can save multiple payment methods and set one as your default. During checkout, you can choose which saved card to use or add a new one.

  3. What if my card is declined when I try to save it?

    Make sure your card isn't expired or blocked for online transactions. Verify your billing address matches what's on file with your bank. If the issue continues, try adding a different card.

  4. Does saving a card here update my payment plan?

    No. If you have an active payment plan, saving a new card in your account settings won't change the card used for your installment payments. You'll need to update your payment method directly through your payment plan settings.

  5. Can I remove a saved card at any time?

    Yes. You can delete any saved payment method by going to Account > Payment Methods and selecting the card you want to remove.
