Steps To Watch On Your TV
Apple TV
Option 1: Tixr Play App
Step 1. Download the Tixr Play app on Apple TV.
Step 2. Open the app and select Sign in with activation code.
Step 3. On your phone or desktop, visit tixr.com/activate.
Step 4. Enter the code shown on your Apple TV screen and click Activate.
Option 2: AirPlay
Step 1. Make sure your Apple TV and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2. Open your Tixr livestream or video and tap the AirPlay icon.
Step 3. Select your Apple TV.
Roku
Step 1. Go to my.roku.com/account/add/V5GXKTN.
Step 2. Log in to your Roku account and click Add Channel.
Step 3. Open Tixr Play on your Roku device.
Step 4. Visit tixr.com/activate, log in, and enter your TV code.
Amazon Fire TV
Step 1. Search for and download the Tixr Play app on Fire TV.
Step 2. Open the app and sign in.
Step 3. Visit tixr.com/activate and enter your activation code.
Chromecast
Step 1. Ensure your computer and Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2. Log in to your Tixr account and go to My Media.
Step 3. Play your event and click the Cast icon in Chrome.
Step 4. Select your Chromecast device.
Heads up: Stream quality depends on your Wi-Fi strength and the event producer’s bitrate.
Troubleshooting Steps
I see a black screen or nothing happens when I click Play.
Make sure you’re logged into the correct Tixr account.
Press Play on both the event card and the stream page.
I can’t play on multiple devices.
Tixr Play supports one active stream per account at a time. Close the stream on other devices before switching.
I didn’t receive my livestream confirmation email.
Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders.
Search for Tixr Livestream or Go to Livestream.
The stream won’t load at event time.
Refresh the page once the event starts.
Try a different browser or device.
